Parenting Support

At LittleKind Psychology, we believe that when parents feel supported, children do better. We work collaboratively with caregivers to make sense of their child’s behaviour through a developmental, attachment-based, and neuro-affirming lens, shifting the focus from “fixing” behaviour to understanding what’s driving it.

We integrate evidence-based approaches, including attachment-informed strategies, Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help parents respond to their child in ways that build connection, emotional regulation, and long-term skills. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all advice, we tailor our guidance to each family’s unique dynamics, values, and challenges.

We support parents navigating a range of concerns, including emotional regulation difficulties, anxiety, behavioural challenges, neurodevelopmental differences (such as ADHD and Autism), as well as family stressors like separation, divorce, and major life transitions. Our work often focuses on helping parents feel more confident and effective, while strengthening the parent-child relationship and reducing daily conflict.

Ultimately, our goal is to help parents feel less alone and more empowered with practical, compassionate strategies that foster connection, resilience, and a deeper understanding of their child.
